We are back to Adelaide again for a month break. Actually break for Claudia & myself but Mr. Wallace got work to do. It’s winter here and it is very nice for me (cause I’m pregnant, I don’t feel very cool this time). Temperature is around 17-19°C in the day and night is about 7-9°C. There won’t be much traveling around this time cause Mr. Wallace is quite tight with his business trip around Australia except we will be in Tasmanian for 3 days at the end of the trip.

Above photograph was taken in Bunnings Warehouse. It is the mop head on top of Claudia head. The minute she saw it, she put it on and said she is a clown.

Yes, less than a month Grandma passed away last Tuesday, 13/05/2008, morning. Grandma is very weak and bed ridden for the past few years. We did brought her to pay her last respect to Grandpa and she accepted the news calmly (look likes to us). I guess she is heart broken deep down inside. Her passing may not be a bad thing cause in some ways is ending her suffering. We believe grandpa come back for her and now they are united in another place together with their elder & younger sons.

“Grandma rest in peace and I always miss you. You are a very strong and dynamic person. Not to forget, you are the best cook I even met. Always love and miss your Hakka dishes. Thank you for taking care of us when we were young and also all the lessons that you had taught us.”

Claudia is singing “Baa Baa Black Sheep”.

It’s her favourite song for the time being.

I just called my ob/gyn to find out about my blood test result. The nurse told me he won’t be back till 2:00pm. I asked her is my blood test result is out and she put me on hold for 10 minutes. Then she told me to call back at 2:00pm and speak to the doctor directly. (I guess nurse are not allowed to discuss patient test result cause they are not fully medically trained). She continue saying that when there are problem with test result, doctor will call the patient immediately. When there is NO NEWS is GOOD NEWS. Keep my finger cross that I won’t receive a phone call from my gynae.

Grandpa passed away last Sunday (20/4/2008). After a fall and hospitalised for a week,  he did not make it through.  All of us did not expect this cause he has been a strong person and would go for his walks everyday without fail. Still we all accepted it with calm. I was advised not to attend his funeral cause I’m pregnant. No matter what I do really miss him.

“Grandpa, may you rest in peace. We will take care grandma for you. Thank you for all the things that you had done for me especially during my schooling years. I hope we shall meet again in our next life.”

I went for my obs/gyn check up last Wednesday. Baby is moving (swimming) while my doc doing the ultrasound scan. It is very cute. Doc said it is still too early to tell the gender but everything looks fine until he asked me: -

The whole conversation makes me worried after I left his office. If there is a risk, I’ll hate to make the decision. Keep or not keeping the baby? Can you imagine a pregnant women have to make such decision. It is torturing. Worst than given birth. Everything should be okay cause both families history does not have down syndrome babies. But again you never know.

Lately Claudia is full of questions in whatever she is doing/hearing/seeing. Sometimes it makes me laugh and sometimes makes me lost my patience. Especially watching television time, just like my bro when he is young. Full of questions and the worst part is she keep repeating the same questions like a broken record. Example: -

This will continue on and on. In some way it good that she is asking question but repeating them is irritating. But I always try to be patient and ask each questions nicely and calm. Her favourite questions nowadays is: -

1. Who is that?
2. Where are we going?
3. What are you doing?
4. What is that?
5. Like who?
6. What happen to my hand/leg/head? (when she hurt herself or have funny things on them).

Above all, “NO” still her ultimate favourite word. Almost everything you asked her, she will answer you ‘NO’. The most frustrating part is, she will asked

Of course she also have some nice things to say like: -

1. Have a nicer day. (Should be nice day)
2. Please come in. (When we back from work or anybody come to visit)
3. How are you?
4. Nice? (When comes to food)
5. Good Morning/Night

Just some updates. I don’t really know what to blog. In fact, I’m getting lazy to update the blog.

Anyway, I went for my second check-up on Feb 28. Happy to said everything is fine. Saw the baby with strong heart beats and there is only one not two (thank god). This time I bring along Claudia, and she is very excited to see a tiny baby inside my stomach. From time to time I have to remind her that I’m pregnant cause she forgets and like to climb on my stomach or asking me to carry her. EDD is Oct 5, 2008.

This pregnancy is totally different from my last pregnancy. I got mild morning sickness (minus the vomiting) and very sleepy all the time. Loves chili which I’m not suppose to eat all due to I have bad skin. To ease off the discomfort, I eat green apple, tomato & orange juice. Also I have booked my confinement lady. It is going to be my last pregnancy so I want to make sure that I will get enough rest and I will have a good health after that.

Claudia is getting more demanding everyday. She is bore at home and always look for other children to play with. She always refuse to go home or let the neighbour children to go home after they finish their play. She will cried and said she lock inside the castle like Cinderella, yes she adores Cinderella. Physically, she grow taller and heavy too. Mr.Wallace take her for swimming almost every weekend at FIL place. My in-laws just shift to a new condo near our place. So it is very convenient. I guess I shouldn’t have any excuses for not exercising.

Finally, I just want to said I’m very happy with the general election results. Hope this change will bring us better quality of life and for the better future for our children.

I don’t know this is coincidences or it’s really the work of feng shui. Well, it about the position of our bed. As you all already knew that I had moved Claudia to her own room when I got back from Adelaide, Australia last December. Naturally we had our own bed moved back to the old position. And at this time, I conceive No: 2. Just like that. No extra effort. The funny part is I conceived Claudia with the same bed position and on the 1st month we moved into this house. Previously, we rented a condo before we brought this house and we did tried for a year for a baby but no luck.

Feng shui or not its up to you to believe. For us, the timing is just right. Claudia will be 3 by the time No: 2 arrive.

I explained this to Mr.Wallace and he said “Wow! It took us one and a half years to realise this. Should have moved Claudia earlier then”.
