Greeting from Adelaide, Australia

We arrived in Adelaide on Sunday morning. After a long flight, actually not that long but it’s long for me cause I did not get to sleep at all.

When we arrived at KLIA, we found out that our flight has been delayed for 30 minutes. Okay, we will just hang around the airport. After everyone boarded the gate, there is another announcement for additional 30 minutes delayed. They need to change the tyre this time.

This time we got a quick clearance for the Australian quarantine dept. Surprise! Surprise! Cause we bring food (Marcus milk formula) usually they will go through them before we are let out. So, that’s good.

When we are out of the airport, it is freezing out there. We did not put on any jacket cause we expected mild weather but no it is still WINTER! 12°C maximum. Then another hour drive from the airport to MIL new house at the Barossa Hills.

At breakfast, we are so hungry.

And so tired, too. See how she put the hands under her bottom to keep them warm.

Mother’s Day

Claudia started her kinder early this year.
I sort of expect a Mother’s Day card on Mother’s Day.
And still I have to act surprise and excited when my little girl presented it to me.
It’s quite a simple card. No drawing or hand written anything.
Just some cut, paste & colouring.
But all those things is not important cause I still very happy to receive my first Mother’s Day card.

 

Kiz Sport at 1Utama

Kiz Sport is having a promotion now.
Weekday from 3pm onwards – 50% off normal price.
And that is a fantastic news for me.
Both my monkeys get to run/play as long as they want.
It is a great way for them to burn some energy.

Just a brief updates about my two little monkeys.

When she received her Pneumoccocal.
Why so late? Cause it optional therefore I give it a miss.
Why now? Cause Marcus pediatrician is having a Pneumoccocal jab promotions.
Basically, Marcus paid for his and Claudia will get her’s free.  No bad, huh.
Since came back from Australia, she start her crying again when going to school.
Also, her class teacher Karen has resigned and she said she don’t like her new teacher.
Teacher Karen pay a lot of attention to her and I guess with the new teacher is not the same anymore.

As you can see, I have start putting Marcus on the walker as well as on highchair during his feeding time.
He likes his oat cereal and smash fruits but don’t like rice porridge/congee.
Totally opposite from his sister.
Not very good with drinking water too. But likes to play with water especially bath time.
He jabbering  and drooling a lot.
Still with one teeth, quite slow compare to Claudia.
Can’t crawl yet but can sit on his own for a short period of time.

 

Easter Eggs Hunting in the Dark

The kids had an Easter eggs hunting last night.
I know it is a bit early but last night is the only day the kids can get together.
It is Claudia first Easter celebration and she had a blast.
All she knows is that she is hunting for hidden eggs in the backyard.
She does not know that Easter egg is made out of chocolate.
She thought it is a real egg.
During dinner, she said she don’t want them cause it will make her teeth dirty and smelly.
I haven’t told her the story behind Easter day.
I shall leave that part to Uncle Brian.

Let’s go to the park

Let’s go to the park (we called it “playground” in Malaysia).
The weather is fantastic.

Marcus 1st time on a swing.
He loves it when the wind blow on his face.

My 2 Bunnies

The Australian are into Easter celebration, not like Malaysia.
Easter eggs (most of them are chocolates) are selling everywhere.
All kind of sizes with colourful wrapping and bold.
So here are my 2 bunnies running around the house.

Bunny No: 1
Running & hopping everywhere.
Sometimes did not carry her eyes with her and bum into furniture.
So she is a clumsy bunny.

Photo taken by bunny no:1, that’s why can’t see the full bunny ears.
This one can’t hop or run.
He only watch & laughs at bunny no: 1 doing all the crazy bunny actions.

 

We are in Australia now

We are in Adelaide, Australia now.
We will be here for a month break.
Hopefully, Marcus can recover faster with the fresh air over here.

At KLIA, boarding gate.

Both kids are doing great during the flight.
Claudia sleep through the whole journey.
Marcus too, but he is on medication for his bronchitis.
