R.I.P Grandpa

Grandpa passed away last Sunday (20/4/2008). After a fall and hospitalised for a week,  he did not make it through.  All of us did not expect this cause he has been a strong person and would go for his walks everyday without fail. Still we all accepted it with calm. I was advised not to attend his funeral cause I’m pregnant. No matter what I do really miss him.

“Grandpa, may you rest in peace. We will take care grandma for you. Thank you for all the things that you had done for me especially during my schooling years. I hope we shall meet again in our next life.”

 

New Year comes with Good News

Happy Chinese New Year, everyone.

May the new year brings you happiness and joy.

As for us, this new year has brings us good news & hopes.

Yes, after trying slightly more than a year, we are finally blessed with No:2.

I had my first prenatal check-up at week 5 (thats what according to babycenter website).

But my gynae can’t give me an exact due date cause No:2 did not have a heart beat yet. In fact No:2 is so small that we can’t even see him/her.

The only news comes out of the visit is that I’m confirm pregnant.

Next appointment would in three weeks times.

 

Birthday Party - Part II

It Wednesday (1st August), Claudia birthday. Another round of celebration for her but a very, very small one.

Early in the morning, off I go to Putrajaya, Immigration Dept. to renew the workers work permit as well as Mr.Wallace work permit. Then we went to the new Buddhist temple near my area because they just brought in 20 beautiful God of Mercy statues from Taiwan. We are not allow to take photo or else I will post them here. Then off we go to do some grocery shopping. After that went to SS2 for lunch.

Got back home I bake some cupcakes for Claudia for her 2nd round birthday cake. Then cooked minted lamb, baked potato for dinner as FIL is visiting tonight.

 

 

Birthday Party - Part I

Well, we decided to celebrate Claudia birthday 3 days early due to her birthday fall on Wednesday. It is a small celebration with immediate family. Early in the morning, both of us off to airport to pick up daddy & FIL. Then bring Claudia to her Tumble Tot class which finished at 12:00pm. Rush home to start cooking. Thank god my mum is at my place for the week since Mr.Wallace on business trip. She prepare all the raw food while we are at the airport. Just need to put them in the oven and fried the black pepper udon noodle. About the cake, my brother suppose to pick it up at Bakerzin, One Utama when they are on the way to my place.

About cake, I booked it 2 days before the celebration. Reason being that I can’t decide what type of cake to get. I did a search at all the mummy blog and their have beautiful birthday cake. Again, should I get a cake for it decoration or for the taste of the cake. Since the party would be more adult than children, it would be better to choose the taste.

Clockwise. Children from my neighbor who adore Claudia. They play together most of the evening after school. Then my nephew, Nicholas (5 months older than Claudia).

You are 2 years old today. Mummy feel very happy & blessed that you are healthy and a jovial child. Thank you for giving me this privileges to be your mother and your friend. Mummy cherish every single moments with you no matter is happy or sad. Mummy definitely look forward to celebrate your birthday with you for many, many years to come.
